Which book to use...
Next comes the big question, which book shall we use to prepare for the written test. Most people would go for 'R.S.Agarwal',but i would recommend something else.Any preparatory material for 'CAT' exam will be ideal because they tell u the concepts clearly and why any particular method is used for solving the problems.Materials from 'Times Institute' were good.
I am sure you will be finding every topic interesting and make you think sharply. You would feel a lot more better after solving those problems because this is what the entire education system should have been aimed at
"To train the mind to think.."!
One month from the interview
So ,here it goes, one month to go for the 'day of your life' and u r in the verge of mastering every question that is going to be asked in the written tests almost in all companies. What to do now?Its now time for the real show.Go to any standard websites like
Freshersworld.com,
Geekinterview.com
and see for yuorself the type of questions that are in the company papers.Try to solve them without much looking back into what u have learnt.See and find the areas u are strong and weak.Pay a bit more attension to the weaker areas, but dont be sorry if u cant master it ,because no one can be 100 percent everytime.
Two days from the interview
So,Now only two days before the interview,u would be wondering how to revise all the things u had studied.I tell u what, this is the easiest part.
Again Go to sites like freshersworld.com,Geekinterview.com,they have questions of almost all companies that are recruiting ,updated every two days.So u can virtually get the entire question paper or atleast the topics covered.Since these companies are recruiting in a whole a lot of colleges ,it is impossible for them to find new question papers everytime. So the same question paper will be given to u and u have it now.Foem urself a virtual question paper, putting in the question number and writing the topic under which the question comes.Frame urself a stratergy ,how to approach the question paper based on the areas of ur strength.Finish the preparation for the Written test one day before the interview and dedicate the day before for Group Discussion,Technical Interview and Personal Interview.
