How to clear a GD- Part II

Based on my experience ,let me give the points that will help you to do well in GDs

1)Understand it is not a debate,it is just a discussion just like the ones u have with ur friends .

2)Here,they look into your leadership qualities, interpersonal communication and your cognizance of recent events and your atitude towards them.

3)Always try to start a GD and be the one who controls the flow of the GD.

4)If u dont know well about the topic, just wait for two or three people to speak about it and then u start.

5)In case of topics, where u can speak either for or against a topic like 'Should there be reservations',choose the side for which u are going to speak carefully, because sometimes it can backfire.

6)Dont be harsh,Dont be Angry,Use polite language to argue with others.

7)Always maintain eye contact with others in a continuous manner, this is very important.

8)Help others who feel uncomfortable or hesitant to speak.

9)Tell your facts clearly,if u are not sure about them, please dont use them.

10)Never see the HR who is judging you.

These are just few points that i felt saying, there are many others,Search the web for anything u want about the interview anytime, because the points u see someday will be of immense help during the interview.

The Day before the interview

Start the preparation for GD after you are sure that u have prepared well to clear the written test, because this will play a major part in ur confidence.Read the datas u would have collected in the four months.Memorize some facts about India like the poulation of Youth, number of people having mobile phones, number of people having bank accounts etc.A simple google search would provide u the figures.Plan urself how to start a topic and say it two or three times,Make it short and simple.
